One for everybody who knows about love
~ High Contrast – ‘Lovesick’ (True Colours. 2002)
So, my weekend ended today. A Halloween themed myriad of masks and mud, haunted nomads on missions from marquee to marquee, faces painted, etched deep with coats of alcochemical concoctions – bag-fed mad-men. But night-walkers become day-crawlers – sucked dry and emptied – a brittle-body shell; a vacuum mind.
This is one for the re-build, poly-filler for the soul, an easing back to bass.
This is one for soothing edges, soft kicks like playful pacifists,
One for the love which it was always unto;
Everybody knows about love
So this is one for the heads who remember.
